Kurama's face lightens up. Here he is thinking that someone else needed attention, love, and companionship. He has forgotten how much HE needed them too. He walks away slowly, solitary in the vastness of the seashore. The reddish-yellow hues of the dying sun reflecting on the gently humming waters. Kurama fails to notice the dark figure above the cliff, watching every morose, but graceful movement with intense scrutiny. Kurama stops walking as Hiei suddenly appears before him. They gaze at each other silently. A moment passes and Kurama smiles and turns away. Hiei pulls him back against him roughly, ruby eyes glinting dangerously. Kurama disengages the strong grip on his shoulders, but Hiei pulls him nearer still and kisses him desperately on the mouth. After a while, both gasps for air. Kurama shakily touches his bruised lips. Hiei murmurs something very low as Kurama's emerald eyes widen. The fire demon grins and pulls Kurama closer again. Kurama and Hiei kiss passionately. --------------- Scene pulls back.
