~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Author's ranting: This special fic is dedicated to my brilliant, but weird tomodachi, Mikala Barton. Who else would think of such an idea? Oh, what the heck! This is for you, I really hope you'll like this! And I suppose this one goes to everyone who loves to see Yomi & Kurama together. I'm wondering... I suppose this fic doesn't need a lemon? Mikala says no need! He, he, he. Ano...right Mikala? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Koenma-sama!" "Hmmm?" Koenma looked up from the piles and piles of documents on his table. The blue oni, George Saotomi scratched his head. "Someone is here to see you." "Huh? At this time? It's too early! And besides you didn't tell me I was supposed to be having this appointment." Koenma rasped and proceeded to suck his fukumen furiously. "I know... but..." "Don't worry. I'll explain to him myself." A quiet voice interceded. Koenma dropped his fukumen on a sheaf of papers. "Y-YOMI?!" "Hai." The makai lord smiled. "Koenma-sama?" George looked from one to the other. "Yes. Yes, you may go now. Leave us alone." Koenma picked up his pacifier and placed it on his mouth. The blind makai lord stood quietly before him. "Yomi, what can I do for you?" Yomi smiled again and chuckled. Koenma raised his eyebrows. Well, if Yomi could laugh on this one, then there was no need to worry. "Please, sit down." Koenma said graciously and tried to look very serious sucking a blue pacifier. Yomi's face sobered and the blind youkai sighed. "I have this favor to ask of you." Yomi began. Koenma waited. Yomi seemed hesitant to continue. I want to go to the ningenkai." Yomi said smoothly, though his knuckles were very tense. "NANI? What did you say? But why?" Koenma drew a deep ragged breath. Surely Yomi was not planning on invading the ningenkai. Yomi watched the telltale signs of fear and unease on the sweating demigod's face. He knew exactly what he was thinking. "I have no intention of disturbing the peace in that world. I give you my word." Koenma's eyes widened. "I merely wanted to see this world that my friend Kurama loves so much." Yomi continued. "Oh, Kurama!" Koenma said, alarm bells started ringing inside his head. "So you want to see Kurama?" Yomi glanced up at Koenma and nodded slowly. "Y-yes." Yomi bit his lip. Was he really that obvious, even to Koenma? It's been almost three years since the makai tournament, but still no Kurama paying him a visit in the makai. He had to see the youko and soon! "Yomi... you know how hard... I mean no youkai is allowed to show his real identity in the ningenkai. The ningens would be scared out of their wits and chaos would follow. We would not want that to happen." "I understand. As I've told you, I have no intention of causing trouble in Kurama's world." Koenma sighed wearily. "Please..." Yomi said softly. "I promise to shroud my youki and alter my appearance so that no one, not even Kurama will recognize me. At least not right away." Yomi conceded. "Yomi... you know that you're forcing me to make a very difficult decision." Yomi just sat there and faced Koenma quietly, almost not moving at all. "All right! But let's keep this quiet or my father will kill me!" Koenma groaned. Yomi smiled brilliantly at him and stood up "Good. I'll just fixed myself first." He was going to see Kurama at last! ------------------------------------------------- The red-haired youth walked toward the gates of Meiou High briskly. His sparkling green eyes gleaming as he saw the abundant pink petals of the sakura tree. "Good morning, Minamino!" A chorus of high-pitched voices startled him. He glanced at his girl classmates and schoolmates and waved. "Ohayo, minna-san!" The redhead smiled and bowed before he went inside the school premises, completely unaffected by the loud screaming that ensued after his greeting. Kurama settled his backpack more securely against his left shoulder and glanced down at his new biology book. The redhead smiled secretly. His kaasan had given him the book as a surprise. His smile widened as he thought of his beautiful and loving kaasan. There was no one else like her in any worlds. The redhead gasped as a solid, bulky form bumped against him, almost knocking him against the locker room. "Oops, sorry!" The deep voice of a 7 feet tall youth murmured against the surprised redhead's ear. Kurama's fighter instinct kicked in when the guy cornered him against a locker. The redhead's emerald eyes momentarily became flinty before he schooled his expression into blandness. "How are you today, pretty boy?" The guy asked, his lower body pressed the redhead's insistently. Kurama opened his mouth and immediately the tall guy locked his lips against the redhead's, managing to insert his tongue to taste the sweet mouth, before Kurama bit him. "Ittai!" Kurama looked quickly around before he calmly threw the guy across the corridor. Kurama wiped at his mouth disgustedly before he walked to where the bulky figure was sprawled. He was out cold. "Next time, don't ever make the mistake of messing with me again!" The redhead said threateningly, his emerald eyes flashing gold for a second. The redhead dusted his uniform and proceeded to get to his class. He was already late! ------------------------------------------------- Kurama cursed under his breath. The sensei had locked the door to the classroom. Kurama leaned curiously against the tinted glass door. He managed a yelp, as the said door was yanked open. The redhead promptly fell against the chest of the tall man that stood before him. He was steadied to his feet. "Go-gomen." Kurama blushed hotly. He stared up at the much taller guy, who glared at him. "You must be Minamino?" The deep voice asked. Kurama nodded slowly, at the back of his mind, he felt something vaguely familiar about the ningen before him. He studied the short black shaggy hair and the long black lashes. He couldn't see his eyes though. The ningen's firm, sensuous mouth called him back to reality. "Well? Won't you come in?" He was asked sardonically. Kurama blushed again and entered the room. He sat down beside a beaming girl and looked back at the man. He frowned. The tall ningen was a new sensei? "Right! Before we get on with this class, I would like to introduce myself first. I am your new teacher, Takeski Satoh. Tomorrow, I don't want any late comers in my class." Takeski Satoh traded looks with a set of emerald eyes. "And no one should be eavesdropping against the door." Saitoh murmured, still gazing at Kurama. The redhead was sweating profusely at those heated looks. Takeski Saitoh's pink eyes were devouring the redhead. Kurama felt sick at the gut. It was a good thing that the school bell rang. A throng of girls and few boys surrounded the redhead immediately. Kurama grimaced slightly. He looked back at his sensei and Mr. Saitoh was glaring daggers at the multitudes of girls and a dwindling of boys. "Can I speak to you for a while, Mr. Minamino?" Kurama paled but he nodded. The sensei watched the students trickled out of the room and locked the door after them. Kurama took a deep, steadying breath. Twice in a day, not bad for a half youko/ningen trying to maintain a low profile as possible with his redhead and green eyes. "Minamino Shuuichi, isn't it?" Takeski Saitoh murmured. "Hai." Kurama murmured watching the sensei closely under his thick red lashes. "Why were you late?" Came the curt inquiry. Kurama was speechless for once. He hadn't expected that question. "I was... detained at the corridors." "Oh? You were traipsing?" "Mr. Saitoh, I wasn't." "How can you prove that?" The redhead's emerald eyes widened. "I can't..." "So you're lying!" Kurama hissed under his breath. Why was this teacher picking on him? Did he know him? The redhead stared at the face before him. Takeshi Saitoh's face was challenging. "What are you looking at?" Kurama just stared at him. Memories, fleeting... coming back to him. There was something about his eyes and the movement of his head. The way he smiled... The green eyes widened. His breath caught in his throat. Was it Y-Yomi? But it was impossible! The makai lord would never even contemplate on coming to the ningenkai. "Well? Minamino, you are wasting my time." The ningen said and turned his back away. "Wait!" Kurama grabbed his hand. Takeshi Saitoh stared at his hand. Kurama quickly dropped it like it was one of Karasu's bombs. "Was there something you wanted to say, Minamino?" "Go-gomen, Mr. Saitoh. It's just you are kind of familiar to me." "Oh?" Kurama flushed under the mocking gaze. "I'm sorry, it's just probably a mistake." Kurama turned away and left hurriedly. Takeshi stood solitary inside the room, a poignant smile on his handsome face. "Not yet, Kurama. I can't tell you yet." ----------------------------------- Hiei had been watching the half youko/ningen staring at his notes for about half an hour. The fire demon snorted. The stupid fox was daydreaming. "Oi, fox! Wake up!" "Huh? Oh..." Kurama blinked his eyes and glanced at the scowling fire demon sitting on his bed. "Baka! You're almost asleep there!" Hiei growled. He couldn't understand why Kurama put a lot of effort on stupid ningen nonsense. "Hiei..." Kurama shook his head and chuckled at his friend. The fire demon hated watching him pouring over his studies, but somehow Hiei watched him every night while he did his schoolwork. "One of these days, I'm going to teach you to recite poetry." Kurama grinned at the widening ruby eyes. "Stupid fox! Hn!" The fire demon grumbled. Kurama watched as Hiei leaned against the bedpost, relaxing completely. The fire youkai had a big frown on his little forehead. "Fox, what's poetry?" Kurama broke a pencil. Hiei saw that and growled. "I hate it when you make fun of me!" Hiei stood up abruptly. Kurama immediately blocked the fire youkai's only means of escape, his window. The redhead chuckled. "Hiei, let me explain..." "Get out of my way, stupid fox!" "Hiei, you don't really mean that." "Aaaargh!" Hiei turned away. Kurama grinned.
Hiei was really fun to make FUN with! "Hn." Hiei settled back on the foot of the bed watching as Kurama leaned against the window. The fire demon watched curiously as Kurama frowned. The kitsune had been doing that a lot lately. Hiei snorted. He wasn't about to inquire from the stubborn youko what was bothering him. That would be out of his character. But a tiny voice inside his youkai's head felt the concern for his best friend. Kurama had been his best friend for a long time. The kitsune had selfishly helped him in almost all of his predicaments. He owed the fox so much. Not that he would openly admit this to anyone including to that vain kitsune. It was a promise he had inculcated within his youkai soul. And besides Kurama was too talkative to bottle things up for so long. "Hiei..." Kurama spoke hesitantly. Hiei grinned secretly. Good. Kurama was about to talk. "I have this new teacher in school...I don't know if I'm going nuts or what, but I swear he really looked a lot like Yomi." Hiei's ruby eyes gazed sharply back at the redhead. "Ch! You're imagining it!" "Yeah, probably...but still..." "Hn. You want me to check on it?" "Hiei it doesn't really matter..." Kurama said lamely. It was obvious that something was bothering him. "Hn! Suit yourself, stupid fox!" "I don't know, Hiei. Maybe my guilt is catching up with me." The youko sighed and sat down beside the fire demon. Hiei raised an eyebrow. "Youko Kurama feeling guilty?" "Believe it or not." Kurama said softly, staring down at his elegant hands. "Yomi...I betrayed him twice. I had him blinded and when he forgave me and offered me a third of the makai, I turned him down and without hesitation, sided with one of his enemies." Hiei stared at the melancholy face and spoke in a harsh voice. "You did what you have to do." "I know...but why do I keep having visions of him and seeing him in the face of my sensei?" "Hn." Hiei snorted. Did Kurama expect him to believe that Yomi was haunting him? "Baka!" Hiei said. Kurama glanced at him. "You think so?" A thin eyebrow rose. "Hn." ------------------------------------------------- Kurama sat down with the rest of the class waiting for Sensei Saitoh to arrive. He ignored the simpering looks given to him by his female classmate and the lecherous gazes of few of his male co-students. There was a suppressed squeal and Kurama looked up straight into Takeski Saitoh's eyes boring into his. Kurama's heart stilled and then it drummed madly against his chest. The kitsune tore his gaze reluctantly away. Damn! What was the matter with him? He gazed down at his hands and found them shaking. He almost jumped from his seat when Mr. Saitoh stood beside his chair. "Minamino, please see me after school." Kurama swallowed and looked up slowly to stare at his sensei. Mr. Saitoh smiled down at him before walking back to his table to begin his class. Kurama's mind was floating, wondering what the sensei wanted from him. He was startled to attention when the school bell rang. The kitsune blinked his eyes. That sure was fast! He remained on his seat and smiled at his classmates saying goodbye to him. He stood up and came to stand before Mr. Saitoh. "Sir..." Kurama began. "No, please call me by my first name." "I...I can't do that." Kurama frowned. "But I asked you to and besides it's after school hours." "All right then Mr.--Takeski." Kurama turned serious green eyes to him. "Who are you really? And what do you want from me?" Takeski blinked his eyes. "What do you mean?" Kurama frowned. "Don't play with me." "Why do you ask me who I am? I am Takeski Saitoh, did I not tell you?" "But you're not really him, are you?" Kurama's eyes narrowed. Takeski locked the door and turned to the redhead. "Maybe I should ask you that question, Kurama." He said and grinned as Kurama's eyes widened. "It's really you! Yomi!" Takeski/Yomi nodded his head and laughed. Kurama stared at him, speechless. "How...?" "It's a long story..." Yomi said and clapped Kurama on the shoulder. Kurama stared at Yomi's arms beginning to enfold him in an embrace. "It's been a long time ne, Kurama?" Kurama didn't speak. What was he supposed to say? "Oh, come on! This is the first time we've seen each other in three years, don't go speechless on me." "I-I'm sorry. You surprised me, that's all." "I know. I wanted to surprise you and you did not disappoint me." Yomi smiled and stared at the lovely face before him. "Can we talk somewhere private?" Kurama stiffened. "Isn't this private enough?" "No." Yomi said quietly, his breath was very near Kurama's mouth. "Umm...okay, let's go to a park." Kurama said hurriedly. "No. Let's go to my apartment instead." Yomi said. Kurama stopped walking. "Y-Yomi..." Was Yomi planning on seducing him? "I need to talk to you." Yomi said softly. Kurama sighed. "Okay lead the way." ----------------------------- "This is place is very tasteful." Kurama said beaming at Yomi. "You have good taste, Yomi." "I know..." Yomi murmured looking very closely at the redhead. Kurama's spine tingled. The kitsune's palms began to sweat. He was right! Yomi was out to seduce him and he allowed himself to be trapped! Why did he allow it? He didn't know exactly. Part of him wanted to get away fast, but another part of him wanted this to happen. He wanted to see just how Yomi would go about this session. "Do you want anything to drink?" Yomi asked the redhead. "Umm...no thanks." Kurama said, standing uncertainly in the middle of the room. "Kurama, you're too tense. Please sit down." Yomi smiled gently. Kurama glared at him and sat down with a huff. Yomi stood at the back of the kitsune's chair. "So tell me, what have you been doing to yourself?" Yomi's breathed near Kurama's nape. Kurama's oversensitive skin tingled, but he tried his best not to shiver. "I'm finishing this last semester then I'm going to work at my stepfather's company." "Hmm?" Yomi chuckled. "Amazing! Youko Kurama doing numbers?" "You'd be surprised what else I can do." The redhead drawled. Yomi was startled his pink eyes gleamed. That sounded like the old Kurama he knew. "I know. I've lived long enough to be dazzled by Youko Kurama's talents!" Kurama just sat there quietly. Where was Yomi taking this conversation? "I wonder... have you truly abandoned your youko ways?" Yomi asked quietly and sat down in front of the kitsune. "What do you mean, Yomi?" Kurama's face tightened a little. There was a hidden meaning behind the inquiry. "Kurama, you have to admit that you've changed...drastically." Yomi let the statement hang there, baiting the redhead. Kurama smiled at him. "I know what you're doing. Don't push it, Yomi." "Am I pushing you? In what way?" Kurama grunted impatiently. Yomi was playing with him and words were his weapons. "This conversation is pointless. I'm going home now." Kurama stood up, but Yomi blocked his path. "Not yet. I haven't said what I came here for." Kurama gazed up at the much taller ningen/youkai. "They say it." "I want you to reconsider my offer." "No, Yomi." "I want you there beside me, Kurama. I need you there." Yomi said forcefully. "Yomi, you have Shura now. He has every right to take your place." "Dammit! It's not the same!" Yomi said in frustration. "He is your son.
He needs you and you need him!"
Kurama gritted his teeth. Yomi
was being stubborn again. The redhead stared at him in shock. "Y-Yomi..." "I want you! Are you really so blind as you pretend to be? Is there someone else, Kurama?" Yomi rasped and pulled the redhead tightly against him. Kurama's mind felt a hazy at Yomi's revelations. He watched in a trance as Yomi's mouth descended on his. Hiei's visage came to his mind before he opened his mouth to Yomi's insistent lips. "I want you! I love you so much, fox!" Yomi whispered against his mouth and claimed his lips again for a deep kiss. They pulled apart breathing heavily. Kurama braced against Yomi's embrace. "Yomi...this is too fast." The redhead murmured. "We've known each other for so long." Yomi pulled him back against him. "But not like this..." Kurama protested, but Yomi plundered his lips again, seducing the fox's senses. Kurama pulled back and turned his back on Yomi. The slender frame was not unaffected by Yomi's touch. Yomi stared at the redhead's rigid back and sighed heavily. He failed again. Not only did Kurama not love or want him; he did not even desire him. Yomi sat down on the sofa dejectedly. His ningen facade slowly disappeared. The youkai's long raven hair hung on his back like heavy chains of misery and pain. Kurama glanced back at Yomi and took a deep breath. It was not because he was not attracted to Yomi. Yomi was a handsome, virile youkai; one a hot-blooded youko like Kurama could not resist. But why was he resisting this attraction? The redhead himself couldn't understand it himself. He watched Yomi silently and the youko's libido kicked in, hard. Go Kurama! What are you waiting for? Grab him, he's willing! Kurama swallowed. His throat had gone very dry. He gazed at every minute detail of Yomi's face and body. The youkai was delicious. Kurama licked his lips. His hands clenched to his sides. What had he got to lose, a night with Yomi but in exchange for what? And what about Hiei? A tiny voice inside his head whispered. The youko shivered. We'll get him next! A mischievous part of his brain suggested. Kurama had to grin despite himself. Gods! He was actually hearing voices inside his head! The youko groaned. Yomi looked up at him wearily. "Kurama. I don't want to force you to do something you're not willing to do..." Yomi began and bowed his head. He was startled when Kurama's uniform, shirt and pants, dropped to the ground and pooled at the youko's feet. ----------------------------- Yomi's breath caught in his throat as he stared at a fully naked Kurama. Beads of sweat formed on the youkai's forehead ad Kurama came closer to him and kneeled. "Yomi..." The youko whispered softly, an elegant hand wound its way into Yomi's hot chest. The redhead's soft mouth hovered above the youkai's open mouth. Yomi was panting heavily. "Ku-Kurama." Kurama lifted his head a bit to fit his small sensuous mouth against Yomi's firm one. Yomi's blood boiled as the redhead's lips locked against his, giving him a deep kiss. Kurama's tongue tasted him. Yomi moaned inside him as the youko's dexterous hands opened the buttons on his shirt. The soft hands were spread on his nipples. The two broke apart breathing heavily. Yomi's shaking hands were on Kurama's smooth bare back and moved lower. The aroused youkai cupped the youko's tender butt cheeks. Kurama bet his head and suck Yomi's erect nipples, pushing the youkai against the floor. Yomi drew the slender frame against him even as Kurama sucked and bit his left nipple. "AAAA! Kurama!" Yomi whimpered, large hands holding the silky strands of Kurama's hair fast. The youkai breathed deeply as Kurama repeated the sucking and biting on his right nipple. Kurama nibbled the right nipple hungrily. How he wanted to do this for a long time. The kitsune watched Yomi's flushed, aroused face and bit the nub. "Ahn!" The youko licked Yomi's chest from the top and down to his navel. Yomi impatiently helped him with his belt and kicked the offending slacks away. Kurama pushed Yomi's hands when the youkai was about to pull his underwear down. The youko slowly uncovered Yomi's very big member, letting a small part of the meaty pole jut out. The mischievous youko gazed down very intensely at Yomi. He was going to make Yomi scream. The redhead bet his glorious red hair purposely on Yomi's crotch and rubbed a creamy cheek against the exposed skin. Yomi jerked his hip. Kurama smiled and pulled Yomi's underwear completely. The kitsune gazed hungrily at the engorged member. The youko slowly licked Yomi's length from top to bottom, watching a trickle of white fluid oozed out of the organ. Kurama licked it slowly, letting his velvety tongue savor Yomi's taste, loving it when Yomi cried out his name. "Ku-Kurama!" Kurama's hot mouth opened wide to swallow Yomi's length. The youko closed his eyes and sucked. A shiver of anticipation coursed through his body. His own length was becoming increasingly hot. Yomi was twisting his raven head from side to side. His handsome face flushed, the firm sensuous mouth panted, chanting Kurama's name. "K-Kurama...Oh...Ahn...Fox...AAAH!" Yomi's hip began to rock spasmodically, his whole muscular body convulsed with intense pleasure. Kurama sucked hard. His hands pumped the length in time with his milking. Yomi screamed Kurama's name as an indescribable sensation went through his whole body. The youkai's mind floated. His strong hip poised in mid-air and his juicy length was still inside Kurama's mouth. The youko was drinking his hot, delicious liquid, the sensuous mouth closing hungrily on the slippery length. Kurama licked a trickle of white liquid on his chin and bent down to kiss Yomi's now pliant member. "Yomi...you're so delicious." The youko said throatily and kiss the length. Yomi groaned. His member was growing hot again. He was never going to get enough of Kurama. The youkai shivered when he felt something wet and warm touched his inner thighs. Kurama was bent on him again, but this time the youko was very intent on his butt crack. Yomi raised his legs and opened his thighs wider, exposing all of himself to the redhead. "Yomi, put your legs on my shoulders." The redhead instructed. "No, Kurama. I might hurt you." For an answer, Kurama nibbled the tip of his length. "Ahn!" Yomi screamed, loving that sensation. "Do as I say youkai, if you want some more." Yomi obeyed finally. Kurama's swift, expert was on his balls. The youko was bathing them with his mouth. Yomi groaned as his crack was licked vigorously. Kurama's hands were on his butt cheeks, squeezing them tightly as he licked and bathed Yomi's opening for his entrance. Yomi's length was engorged again. The youkai's hands reached out to touch himself. "Leave it, Yomi." Kurama suddenly said and suck the tip possessively. "That's mine." The youko murmured before he positioned his tip on Yomi's opening. 'Fox, I want you in my mouth." Yomi insisted, licking his lips hungrily at the sight of Kurama's large member dripping with liquid. The youko's essence was already coming out. Kurama placed his sex on Yomi's seeking mouth and braced against him. The youko growled softly as Yomi's firm, vigorous mouth sucked him hard. "AAAH! Yomi...take it slow or I might come." The redhead threw his head back at Yomi's delicious sucking. "Ahn! Ahn...oh..." Kurama cried. He was nearly coming. The youko gritted his teeth and grasped the raven head. "Stop, Yomi." Yomi reluctantly let go of the youko's juicy length, licking at the salty liquid that was the youko's delicious taste. Kurama positioned his very wet, slippery tip on Yomi's entrance and pushed slowly. His length slipped inside without difficulty. He and Yomi fitted perfectly. The youko controlled the urge to thrust fast inside Yomi. The youkai was so tight and the erotic sensations were too great to contain. Kurama allowed Yomi to get used to his entry once he was fully sheathed. "Come on youko! I want it hard and fast!" Yomi growled and rocked his hips. Kurama gasped at the pleasure that movement gave him. The youko began to pound on the youkai earnestly, riding him fast and hard. His hands pumped Yomi's engorged member in time with his fast thrusting hip. "Aaaah!" Yomi screamed with pleasure. Kurama was so soft and his tender body was so arousing. The youko moved fast against Yomi, riding the youkai like he was one wild horse he wanted to tame. "Ku-Kuramaaaa!! Yomi screamed his release. Above him, Kurama jerked inside Yomi deeply before he too was catapulted into bliss. Kurama's spent human body fell on top of the youkai. There was a lustful smile on the kitsune's lips. Yomi brushed the tangled red strands from the lovely face and kissed the fox on the lips. "Kurama..." Yomi purred on the exhausted fox's ear. The youkai slowly got up and carried the redhead to bed. ----------------------------- Yomi opened his eyes as sunlight passed though the draperies on the window. The youkai turned to his side. Kurama was gone! The youkai sighed and settled back against the bed. He shifted his body so that he was facing the empty left side of the bed. He inhaled the fragrance of the pillow and sure enough, the unmistakable scent of wild roses tickled his nose. Yomi groaned and opened his sensuous mouth to kiss a ghostly apparition of the redhead. "Kurama..." The youkai breathed deeply. Last night, Kurama made him the happiest youkai in the ningenkai. They had given themselves to each other. They spent the whole night and dawn, acquainting themselves with each other's bodies. And Yomi was content at last. He knew that he could never keep the youko at his side, but he was happy that he had been a part of Kurama and he to him. "I will always love you,
Kurama." Yomi
murmured. ------------------------------------------------- Kurama yawned for the seventh time. It was a good thing that it was Saturday. No school. He was glad that his kaasan and the rest of the family went to visit a relative since yesterday or his kaasan would have panicked over him not coming home last night. Kurama lay back on his bed and sighed. "Hn." "Hiei!" Kurama sat up on his bed abruptly. "Where were you last night?" The fire youkai asked quietly. A leg was drawn up to his knees and he was leaning against Kurama's window. Kurama swallowed. "I had to finish a school project at a--a friend's house. I must have forgotten to tell you." The youko lied swiftly. "Hn." Hiei grunted. The fire demon gave Kurama an intense scrutiny and the redhead blushed. "There's something different about you." Hiei said thoughtfully. Kurama's right hand tightened in reaction. How could he have known? "Hiei, you're imagining things." Kurama said with a little laugh and fluffed his pillow. The kitsune bent down his fiery head so that Hiei failed to see the panic written all over the redhead's face. "Hn." The fire demon got down the window and sat beside Kurama on the bed. Kurama was startled when a small, hot hand grasped his chin forcefully. The fire demon stared harshly at his guilty face. "Why look so guilty, then?" The fire youkai asked grimly. Kurama pushed Hiei's hand from his chin and stood up. "D-do you really want to know?" The kitsune asked softly, emerald eyes challenging ruby ones. Hiei nodded his head grimly. "I just slept with Yomi." Kurama said as calmly as he could though his insides were squirming. There was no reaction from the youkai. Kurama looked at Hiei and found the wan-faced fire youkai breathing harshly. "Hiei, say something!" For an answer, Hiei grabbed the unsuspecting redhead and pushed him down the bed. He glared at the very close face. "You sicken me with your youko ways! I can't imagine why I befriended you in the first place!" The fire demon said grimly before he tore Kurama's pajamas off from his slender frame. "Hiei!" Kurama tried to push the fire demon off him, but Hiei covered his frail human body with his stronger, compact one. "If you can make it with anyone else, why can't you make it with me?" The fire demon said harshly and attacked Kurama's chest. Kurama gasped as Hiei's teeth bit on a nub. The kitsune bit his lips. "H-Hiei, you're going to regret this." He spoke softly. He had to let the fire demon see reason. "You're wrong! I regret why I did not make you mine a long time ago!" The fire demon snarled. "H-Hiei, please stop!" Kurama shouted, then he gasped when Hiei suddenly entered him. Kurama's lips trembled. It was so painful! His slender hands clutched Hiei's compact chest, desperately wanting him to stop the pain. Hiei panted against Kurama's slender neck. Now that he had actually done the deed, he was regretting the act, but he had to finish what he had started. He pushed very slowly this time inside the fox, in consideration for his body. Kurama was looking up at him with pain-filled eyes. Hiei had to bend his head in shame. He moved slowly and then swiftly as Kurama began to moan with pleasure. The fire demon gritted his teeth. He had to pleasure the kitsune to make up for what he had just done. He moved faster and faster until they were both transported to the pinnacle. Hiei gasped down beside Kurama's trembling body, still not making eye contact with the redhead. A moment ticked by and the fire demon started to put his clothes back on. Kurama's emerald eyes were on his rigid back. "H-Hiei..." Kurama whispered softly. "I'm sorry." Hiei mumbled and with a slight displacement of air, he was gone. Kurama's body fell back down on the bed. The redhead breathed deeply, he had lost Hiei...forever. ----------------------------- Kurama was sitting alone on a bench at the school garden. His green eyes were staring blankly into space. "Hello, Kurama..." The redhead did not turn his head. He knew it was Yomi, disguised as Takeski Saitoh again. "I knew I'd find you here." Yomi murmured, gazing hungrily at the redhead's features. "Have you eaten your lunch?" Yomi asked in a concerned voice. Kurama just sat there. Yomi opened a sandwich and pressed it against Kurama's hand. "Here. You eat this. I'm not hungry anyway." Kurama stared down at the sandwich on his hand and at Yomi's concerned face. The redhead sighed and broke the sandwich in halves and gave Yomi the other half. "Thank you, Yomi." The kitsune said in a ghostly whisper and bit into the sandwich. It tasted like sawdust on his mouth. But he ate anyway. He didn't want Yomi to be concerned about him. Yomi munched his sandwich quietly and observed the youko's mechanical movements. "Care to tell me what's wrong, Kurama?" Kurama laughed and coughed. Yomi had to pound him on the back. "Yomi, thanks." The youko said the second time. Yomi's smile had widened. He glanced around before he scooted nearer the redhead, so near that their breaths were on each other's faces. Kurama refused to face him though. "Yomi, what are you doing?" The redhead hissed at him. "I'm just sitting here. I have not done anything, yet." The youkai whispered against a delicate ear. Kurama shivered and stood up. "Yomi, I don't think we should be doing this." Kurama said softly, dusting his pants. "What are we doing wrong? We're just sitting here and talking." Yomi grinned at the tense youko. Kurama frowned darkly. He could sense a masked dark ki somewhere around the vicinity, watching him and Yomi together. "Thanks for the treat, but I need to get to my class." Kurama said. Yomi grabbed his hands. "We go together. Have you forgotten? I'm supposed to be your sensei for the next hour." Yomi drawled softly. Kurama shook Yomi's hands from his
and began to walk back to the school building calmly.
Yomi followed him from behind. ------------------------------------------------- Hiei had been watching the
solitary redhead sitting at the school garden quietly and then someone
came to him. A handsome ningen dressed in a teacher's uniform.
But Hiei could clearly hear Kurama called the ningen, Yomi.
So that was Yomi, pretending to be an ordinary ningen.
The fire demon watched with intense, angry eyes, the by-play
between the two youkais. Kurama
was trying very hard to be indifferent to Yomi, but his actions only
made the fire of jealousy inside Hiei's chest burn more hotly.
If the fox didn't care for Yomi, he didn't have to pretend.
It was that simple. The
fire demon flitted off quickly. That
was the end of his association with Kurama.
He was never coming back to the ningenkai. ------------------------------------------------- Kurama rubbed a hand to his tired
eyes. The clock on his
study table indicated that it was half past midnight.
The weary emerald eyes turned toward the open window where the
blue curtains were playing a courtly dance with the soft wind.
Kurama stood up and gazed out of the window.
Was Hiei ever coming back? The
kitsune sighed and finally decided to lock the window.
It was time to get to bed. Hiei
or no Hiei. ------------------------------------------------- Kurama's head dropped down wearily on his desk. He had just gotten off a tough examination. He knew he got all the answers right. Whereas before, he might feel elated at the thought and hurry back home to tell his kaasan, now the kitsune just wanted to rest. Yomi, still in the form of Takeski Saitoh, walked over to him with very concerned eyes. "Kurama." The youkai gently held the slender shoulders. "What the hell is going on?" He growled. Kurama sat up and smoothed his hair. "Just tired, that's all." He said as cheerfully as he could, but his face was very sorrowful. "Tell me, I might be able to help." Yomi said quietly, brushing a silky, smooth cheek. Kurama moved against his touch. Yomi sighed. "This is my last day in the ningenkai, in case you're interested to know." Kurama raised a startled face to his. "You didn't tell me before." "You were too busy moping around like a love sick youko!" Yomi said harshly. Dammit! Why did that hurt so much? "Who is in your mind, Kurama?" Kurama smiled at him bleakly. "No one." The redhead sighed and stood up. "It's that fire demon, isn't it?" Yomi persisted. Kurama's slender body trembled and he stared in shock at Yomi. "How?" "I have feelings too, you know and I sensed his ki watching us while we were down at the school garden." Kurama was speechless. "Are you in love with him, Kurama?" Yomi asked the astounded youko. Kurama laughed nervously. "Come on, Yomi. Why would I be in love with a recalcitrant fire demon who does not even have feelings for me?" "I don't know. Love can be that mysterious." Yomi murmured. Just like the way he felt for the youko. Kurama sat back on his seat. His face was very sad. "He--he asked me where I was the night I stayed in your apartment and I couldn't lie to him. I told him the truth, Yomi." Kurama said. His face had gone very pale. "He got mad and... and..." The youko bit his lip. Yomi frowned and held the youko's shoulders firmly. "And what did he do, Kurama?" Kurama exhaled softly and raised pained emerald eyes to his. "He left... and never came back." Yomi stared at him for a long time. "You're skipping out several parts of the story." The redhead drew a harsh breath. "I knew that he forced himself on you, he felt guilty and rushed off." Kurama stood up, pushing Yomi's hands away from him. "You were spying on me?" The youko asked coldly. "I didn't mean to! But I had to see you after I found you missing in my apartment!" Yomi said gently. "Yomi, you had no right to be there!" And witness my humiliation. The youko added silently. "I know, but I just had to know what you felt for me and now I know and I have accepted that." Yomi said in a rush. Kurama was walking away. "Kurama..." "I've had enough! Leave me alone!" The redhead shouted and ran. Yomi sank down on the seat Kurama had vacated. What a painful way to say goodbye. ----------------------------- Yomi sank down on the chair vacated by Kurama and sighed wearily. The youkai's chest felt very heavy. He shouldn't have gone here to the ningenkai in the first place, but then he remembered the night and the dawn he had the redhead in his arms and sighed again. The youkai made his way out of the school premises with dragging footsteps. He didn't really care where he was going. Nothing mattered anymore. His confused brain had only one being in mind... Kurama. What else could he do to win the youko's heart? His kingdom wasn't enough, not even his body, heart and soul. "Kurama..." Yomi whispered harshly. He stopped on his tracks as a thought came to his mind. Hiei! The fire demon was what the youko wanted! Yomi clenched his hands and started to walk briskly. ----------------------------- The youkai knocked determinedly at the door and waited for it to be opened. Kurama's large green eyes widened at the sight of him. "Y-Yomi!" "Can I come in?" Yomi asked curtly. Kurama nodded and waited until Yomi was inside before he locked the door after him. "Your family?" "They're visiting relatives." Kurama said, eyeing Yomi a little nervously. "I have a proposition for you, Kurama." Yomi began softly. Kurama's body grew rigid. He knew that Yomi had something under his sleeve. "What are you thinking, Yomi?" "If I can give you the fire demo back, will you come with me to the makai?" The youkai asked. He did not even blink his eyes. Kurama gasped at him. "Yomi...how can you...? Whatever made you think of such an idea?" Kurama gave the youkai a confused look. "I--want--you." Yomi said quietly and advanced toward a pale Kurama. "Yomi, please stop!" The youko growled when Yomi suddenly grabbed him from around the waist. "Damn you, Kurama! Why can't you love me?" Yomi demanded harshly from the gaping redhead. "I-I like you!" Kurama's eyes were very wide. "Love me!" Yomi gritted his teeth. The youko was silent. Yomi raised the beautiful face for his scrutiny and groaned. "Love me..." Yomi crushed the soft inviting lips against his. He kissed the youko so long ad so deeply until finally Kurama groaned and opened his mouth to Yomi's invading tongue. Yomi's hands wormed under the redhead's silk shirt to flick the sensitive nubs of his chest. All the time the youkai's mouth swallowed the protests the youko murmured. "Yomi, please..." Kurama breathed and arched his neck with Yomi's lips sucked the skin. The youkai murmured on the redhead's ear. "Love me, love me..." Yomi whispered and continued to spread kisses all over the youko's face and neck. When Yomi perceived the youko's boneless state, he lifted him easily to his feet. "Which way?" Yomi kissed the bruised mouth, tender from his kisses. Kurama's emerald eyes opened, hazy with desire. "There..." The youko murmured and Yomi kissed him hard, not allowing him to say anymore. The youkai laid the redhead on the bed ad swiftly took off his clothes. Yomi stared down reverently at the perfect flush body. "Beautiful..." He breathed harshly ad quickly divested himself of his clothes. Then he went down again on the redhead before the latter could get up. "Yomi..." Kurama's hands were on Yomi's broad naked chest. "Love me, Kurama." Yomi teased the sensuous mouth. The rough hands were arousing incredible erotic sensations to the flawless, creamy skin. Kurama lay back down on the bed and closed his eyes, moaning every now and then as Yomi's skillful hands and mouth made love to him and his body. Yomi used all the skills he knew to raise the youko's sensual nature to fever pitch. ----------------------------- Moments later, the lovers lay on top of each other, soak with sweat and gasping for breath. Yomi had remained inside the redhead; his face pressed against the slender chest, listening to the youko's accelerated heartbeat. Kurama attempted to move to his side, but Yomi pushed him down, pumping his hip. Kurama gasped and froze. "Stay put my redhead I am not yet done with you." Yomi smoothed the red wet tendrils from his beloved's forehead. "I'm leaving the ningenkai tomorrow, but I won't force you to come with me." Yomi whispered in a defeated voice and rubbed his forehead against the redhead's. "But I'll miss you..." Yomi breathed harshly. "Yomi..." Kurama spoke very softly. The youkos' eyes were shimmering with suppressed tears. "Let's not talk anymore, talking only hurts." Yomi said in a pained voice and made slow passionate love to Kurama again. ----------------------------- The light of dawn was beginning to crawl back to the ningenkai skies when a fully dressed Yomi stood before the exhausted sleeping redhead. The raven-haired youkai bent down to place a tender kiss on a cheek before he turned around. Funny, this was not the way he planned his visit to end. He sighed. In the blink of an eye he was gone, leaving behind the redhead who meant all the worlds to him. ----------------------------- Kurama slowly drank a glass of milk, but his thoughts were far away. Four weeks had passed since Yomi departed the ningenkai and Hiei... The youko bent his head on the table and fingered an envelope. The letter had arrived yesterday. It was from his dearest kaasan. The redhead slowly opened it and scanned thought its contents. The emerald eyes widened. A moment later Kurama put down the letter and stood up. He had finally made his decision. ------------------------- "Moshi, moshi..." "Kaasan!" "Shuuichi! Thank goodness you called! I was not able to contact you right away because we are still searching for a house." "Kaasan, are you sure you really want to move?" "Hai. Your stepfather wants this and I agree. The business here is really thriving." Kurama became silent. "I-I'll miss you, kaasan." "Oh Shuuichi..." There was long pause. "You know I'll miss you too, but after the school term this month you're going to come here and we will be together again." "I know." Kurama sighed. "I love you, kaasan." "I love you more." Shiori said o the other line. No I love you more than you could ever imagined. Kurama put down the phone slowly and went straight to his room. The youko packed some clothes on his backpack. He needed to see someone. ----------------------------- The makai was still the same all right. Just like he remembered. The youko allowed his instincts to guide him through the vast world. But he knew he was lost. "Hey, Kurama! It's you!" A low voice called. Kurama turned and stared at his caller. "S-Shura?" Kurama gaped at the young black-haired youkai. "It's really you!" Shura ran and embraced the youko much to the latter's amazement. Shura was never this friendly with anyone not even with Yomi. Yomi had truly succeeded with his son. Things had changed. "Wow! You've grown a lot, Shura. I almost did not recognize you. You look more like Yo--you're father now." For some reason he could not utter that name. "Wait, I'll tell papa!" Shura said excitedly. "No, Shura!" Kurama grabbed the boy back. "What will you tell me, Shura?" Yomi's cool voice spoke from behind them. "Papa! Look it's Kurama!" Shura exclaimed and dragged the youko toward the stiffening youkai. "Y-Yomi?" Yomi blinked his pink eyes at the youko and offered a polite smile. Kurama was gaping up at him. "You can see! H-how?" "It's a complete mystery even to me. After I got back from the ningenkai, I was happily surprised when both my eyes opened. I've tried everything in the past and it hadn't worked and this... I don't know what happened." Yomi said and gazed down at the redhead with a polite, but cold face. "It's probably because I had been blind and finally opened up to the whole truth, ne?" He added and Kurama paled. "Are you just passing through?" Kurama gathered his thoughts together. "J-just passing." The youko faltered. Yomi's tone was very chilling. "I see..." Yomi said quietly and looked down at his feet. He didn't see Kurama bent his head too. Shura observed their exchange for some time and frowned. "Papa, why don't we let Kurama stay with us?" Yomi's head snapped up. Kurama bit his lips. This was getting awkward. If he had known this would happen, he would have stayed in the ningenkai. "No, Shura. I can't stay." Kurama spoke slowly. "Why not?" Yomi inquired sharply. Kurama looked Yomi straight in the eye. Could he not see? He would stay in a place where he was not welcomed. "NO! I want you to stay! I want to know how you maneuver that whip!" Shura shouted. "Shura, that's enough!" Yomi reprimanded his son, glaring at him balefully. Kurama stood uncomfortably between father and son. Annoyed at finding himself the reason for an impending quarrel. "Kurama!" Shura turned to him imploringly and Kurama discovered how hungry Shura was for outside contact. The boy was at the stage where he should be hooked with friends. "Yomi, I'd like to stay, but only if you agree." Kurama mumbled, not missing the grin on Shura's face. Yomi sighed. "Of course you can stay, Kurama. You're always welcome here in Gandara." Kurama felt sick. Yomi's words were welcoming but he had that resigned air. "Yomi, are you..." "Let's go, Shura, Kurama follow us!" Yomi said curtly, cutting Kurama in mid-speech. ----------------------------- "Kurama, I've assigned you to your old room." "A-arigatou, Yomi." Yomi stared at the youko very sternly. "If it's fine with you, I would to know why you are here in the makai?" The youkai asked the startled redhead. Kurama stared for a very long time at Yomi, gauging his emotions. But Yomi was good at hiding his feelings too. The youko breathed deeply. "I told you, I've come to see someone." Kurama said evasively. Yomi's eyes narrowed. "Why am I not surprised?" The makai lord mumbled softly and then spoke to Kurama flatly. "As I've said, you're welcome to stay here for as long as you wished." "T-thank you." "Don't thank me, thank Shura." Yomi replied and his look to the youko spoke volumes. It was as if Yomi was warning him to make his stay worth while for Shura at least. ----------------------------- 'Wow Kurama! I never told you before, but I think you're really great!" Shura enthused to the blinking redhead. "Why, thank you Shura!" The young youkai's handsome face flushed and he bent his head. Kurama was busy thinking about nothing in particular. Most of the time, the youko found his thoughts adrift or was it an unconscious reaction to avoid delving into more complex matters? ----------------------------- Yomi watched the youko and Shura sitting together at the palace garden from his room. At least Kurama was a diversion for Shura's energetic personality. Yomi eyed the redhead dispassionately. He was still as lovely as ever, but thinner. The makai lord watched as Shura suddenly grabbed Kurama's hands and spoke something very softly in a rush. The youko stood up abruptly and said something equally softly in reply to the young youkai. Yomi's hands clenched as Shura's body trembled, sharp teeth biting his lips. "Kurama!" Yomi snarled and got down from his room. ----------------------------- Kurama watched Shura ran away from him and sighed. He had not expected that revelation from the young youkai. What made Shura think that it was even possible to... "Kurama! What did you say to my son?" Yomi came from behind the youko and grasped his shoulders roughly. "Y-Yomi..." Kurama's
emerald eyes widened. Had
he heard what Shura was telling him? Kurama gave Yomi a clear look from emerald eyes. "Yomi, I swear I did nothing to him." Kurama began. "Then why was he crying?" Yomi asked angrily. Kurama gritted his teeth. "All right! He told me that he's attracted to me." Yomi paled. Kurama winced as Yomi's hold on him tightened. "What--did--you--tell him?" The makai lord asked harshly. "I told him the truth. I told him that he's too young and that I-I love..." Yomi snatched his hands away from the youko's shoulders as if he was burned. After several minutes passed by, Yomi spoke in a cold voice. "Kurama, I think you should go." Kurama just bent his head and closed his eyes. "But since it's already dark, you should leave tomorrow to wherever it is you're going." "I understand." Kurama spoke softly ad turned away from Yomi. Yomi sighed heavily. It was enough for him to have been enslaved by the youko's spell, but gods not Shura! Not his very innocent son! He had to do something to disillusion Shura from Kurama's charms once and for all. ----------------------------- Kurama packed his clothes back o his bag with a heavy heart. Inari knew, he never meant to hurt Shura, and Yomi all over again. The youko tightened his robe and sat down wearily on the bed. Maybe his plan was fated to fail after all. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. The youko was startled at the loud knocking at his door. He frowned. Shura's room was just across his. Maybe it was Shura? He hoped not. "Who is it?" The youko asked softly. "I bring a message from Lord Yomi. He asked for your presence in his room right away." A messenger said in a muffled voice. "Very well." Kurama sighed and unlocked the door. The messenger bowed his head. Kurama allowed himself to be escorted to Yomi's room, which was located at the furthest end of the corridor. The youko felt vaguely uneasy. There was something not right here. The messenger pressed a button on the double doors and waited for a response. Minutes ticked by and then Yomi's jerky voice spoke from the line. 'Is that Kurama?" "Yes, my lord." "Leave us." The messenger bowed and left. Kurama watched as the double doors opened and he stepped in. The youko stared confusedly at his surroundings. It was dim inside the room. A single lamp lighted the massive and elegant chamber. The youko stopped short when he heard moans and gasps and the pounding of the bed from across the dark room. The youko began to tremble, feeling sick in the gut. Why did Yomi summon him here? Kurama sensed the flaring of Yomi's aura and heard muffled screams of ecstasy. Kurama's whole body tensed and the youko turned to leave the room. It was then that the whole lights snapped open. Kurama blinked his eyes and gasped. A fully naked Yomi was atop the bed, straddling the waist of a handsome redheaded youkai. If he was deaf and failed to hear the sounds of their moaning, the view was very blatant for him to discern what had just commenced. Well, what did he expect? That Yomi was celibate? Yomi stared deeply into the shocked emerald eyes and pushed himself one last time inside the redheaded youkai. Kurama averted his gaze quickly and moved out of range from that sickening view, breathing harshly. He got the message clearly. He was not the only attractive youkai in the makai and Yomi could pick anyone and bed anyone he chooses. Kurama sank down on a corner and covered his face. His whole body was trembling from pain. Then Yomi stood before him after he bid his lover a passionate goodbye. "Kurama, I'm sorry to have let you wait." Yomi murmured in an apologetic tine, but his face was mocking. The youko stood up shakily, telling himself over and over again that he had no right to chasten Yomi for his actions. He was merely a guest in his palace. "I-"it's okay." The youko breathed deeply, refusing to meet Yomi's gaze. "Are you packed?" "Hai." Kurama said curtly. Yomi had hurt him terribly. What was he planning to do next? Suddenly, Yomi moved fast very near the redhead and embraced him tightly. His hands undid the Youko's robe swiftly, revealing the perfect lines of the youko's body. Before Kurama could react, Yomi was pushing him against the wall and attacked his navel. "N-no! Yomi!" Kurama tried to push Yomi's head away and bit his lips as Yomi's tongue darted out to taste him. "Y-Yomi!" Kurama's protest died inside his throat as Yomi's greedy mouth sucked him. The youko closed his eyes. He had to fight this. Yomi was using him. Humiliating him. But how could one fight something, one wanted so much? Kurama's body convulsed as the sucking grew faster. The redhead's elegant hands clenched against Yomi's long black hair. He stifled a groan as a particularly hard suck coaxed his essence out into Yomi's waiting mouth. Kurama's body sagged against the wall. His hazy mind noted that the door had opened and then Shura came in. "PAPA!" ----------------------------- Kurama wanted to sink there. He closed his eyes tightly and waited for the ground to swallow him up. There was so much pain and disappointment in that youthful voice. "H-how could you!" Shura wailed in a broken voice. Yomi licked Kurama one last time and turned to face his son. Kurama sank down on the floor like a broken doll. "It's best for you to know that Kurama and I are lovers. We have been sleeping together for a long time." Yomi said calmly. Shura's pink eyes were shimmering with tears. The young youkai stifled a sob. "Shura, Kurama is mine. You should understand." The small chest heaved, but the young youkai manage in a brave, if quivering voice. "I-I can understand." "Good." Yomi said softly. Shura bit his lips and went out of the room. Yomi stood there in a tense manner. Kurama had not moved from his position on the floor and Yomi seemed disinclined to break the silence. The Kurama stood up and donned his robe with shaking fingers. The youko moved fast toward the door, but Yomi grabbed his hand. "Kurama." Kurama slapped Yomi's hand away. "Don't touch me!" The redhead was crying. Yomi's heart screamed with remorse as he saw the sad, crying face. "How could you humiliate me
in front of your lover and your son?
Are you happy now, Yomi? Are
you satisfied with your revenge?" "Let me tell you something that will complete your victory." The youko said angrily. "I came here to see if you still wanted me be-because I had decided to be with you and you..." Kurama bit his lips until they bled. "You won, Yomi. I just hope this is the kind of victory you truly wished for." The youko said harshly and ran out of the room. "NO! Kurama come back!" Yomi shouted. The youkai frantically ran after the youko. Kurama wiped the tears
angrily from his face. He
was a fool! He should have listened to his youko instinct and remained
unaffected by any emotion. The
redhead dashed past the palace gates.
His crimson tresses unconsciously bled into silver and his more
muscular physique covered by diaphanous clothes.
The youko breathed in relief.
Now he could slip back to the ningenkai fast.
Yomi could never overtake him in his fox form. ----------------------------- Yomi went back to his chamber and
sank down on the bed wearily. The
makai lord's shoulders shook. A
harsh sob broke out from him. "P-papa..." Shura went
inside the room and kneeled in front of his father.
"Where is Kurama, papa?" Yomi covered his face. "H-he's gone." Shura gazed at his father
steadily. Yomi was surprised when Shura
grasped his clenched hands. "Get him back." "S-Shura..." "Get him back, papa.
We both need him. I'd
love to have him as my other tousan."
Shura whispered and smiled at his father's sad face. Yomi felt the hope in his heart
swell. He stood up with
Shura and embraced his son. "Thank you, Shura.
B-But he hates me now. I-I
hurt him so much." Yomi's
tall frame shook and Shura embraced him more tightly. "But you love him!
You can't just let him go that easily, papa!" Yomi breathed deeply. "Kurama... is a stubborn
youko." "And you are a stubborn
youkai! You can't let him
win over you!" "Shura..." "I know you think I'm too
young to understand these things, but I can see that you look good
together and I know how much you love him!" Yomi gaped at his son. "H-How do you know?" "I have eyes and my memories
of him and you. I knew even
when I was younger that Kurama had a very deep influence on you.
You were never liked that with anyone else except with me that
is. That's why I know you
love him because you love me!"
Shura said. "Oh Shura."
Yomi smiled at his son. "Go, papa!
Go to the ningenkai and fetch him back."
Shura encouraged. "You're not attracted to
him?" Yomi
hesitated. The pink eyes of his son twinkled. "I was.
But the rest was just plain acting.
I wanted Kurama for you not for myself." Yomi growled. "And you made me
believed..." Yomi was
angry now and Shura sensed this. The young youkai started to back
off. "Umm... I think I'll see you
after you get back from the ningenkai!"
Shura shouted and ran quickly before his father's wrath could get
to him. "SHURA!"
Yomi snarled and covered his face again. Gods! How was he
going to apologize to Kurama? He
had hurt the youko like Hiei had hurt him.
Kurama would never listen to him now.
But he was dying to know if the youko was telling the truth. Had he really come to the makai to be with him?
But what about the fire youkai?
Had Kurama truly fallen out of love with Hiei?
Yomi stood up. He
had to see Kurama no matter what. His
thoughts and uncertainties were driving him crazy. ----------------------------- "No, Yomi!
I can't let you get back to the ningenkai."
Koenma said in a
huff. Yomi bowed his head. "I must see Kurama." Koenma stared at Yomi, hard. "I can call him for
you." "No.
He won't see me and that is why I must got to him." The demigod sweated profusely. What if his father finds out about
this? "Please, Koenma..." Yomi
said in a low voice. The demigod gasped when Yomi
suddenly kneeled in front of him. "Y-Yomi..." "Please... I beg of you. I have to see him..." Yomi bowed his horned head, his
whole body tense. Koenma got down from his chair and
walked over to Yomi. "W-What the heck is going on,
Yomi?" The demigod
sucked furiously on his fukumen, greatly troubled by Yomi's strange
behavior. "Koenma, I swear, after I've
straightened things out with Kurama, I'm going to explain everything.
Just please let me pass through the ningenkai once again."
Yomi implored. Koenma scratched his head.
Maybe, just maybe his father would never find out... "Yomi, you have my blessing,
and please hurry back!" The
demigod sighed and yelped when Yomi suddenly grabbed and hugged him
tightly. "Let go!"
The toddler sputtered and breathed in relief when Yomi freed him.
The youkai had gone. And
he had just noticed that Yomi could actually see! "What in the three worlds is
going on?" Koenma
spoke loudly to the empty room. ----------------------------- Kurama was going home after his class when he heard loud shouting from behind him. "Damn! Someone get the ball back. It's going toward the redhead!" The youko turned and sure enough, a flying ball was fast approaching. The youko calmly caught the ball with a single hand and waited for a schoolmate to fetch it from him. "Hey, thanks!" The blue-eyed, black-haired, tall ningen smiled at him. "No problem." Kurama turned to go. "Hey, wait a sec!" The youko frowned and stiffened when the ningen stared at him. "Have we met?" He turned his head at his friends' banters. "Hey, Shinji! Introduce us to your girlfriend! His friends whistled. The youth blushed hotly and threw the ball back to his friends. "Shut up, you morons!" He glanced back and saw that Kurama had walked away from him. A few giggling girls walked his way and he stopped them. "Excuse me, but does anyone of you know that redhead?" He pointed at Kurama's fast disappearing back. The girls squealed. "Are you kidding? Who wouldn't recognize the star student of Meiou High?" "Star student? Then that would be..." "Minamino Shuuichi!" The girls chorused. "He's so dreamy!" A girl with violet eyes sighed. "I love his green eyes! They are so dreamy!" Another girl whispered. "But you wouldn't know that. You're a guy!" The girl with violet eyes said and blinked up at him. "Come to think of it, you don't look so bad yourself." She drawled. "Oh, jeez. Thanks!" The young man called Shinji blushed and hurriedly ran back to his friends. "Hey, Shinji! Want us to repeat the game?" "Okay." Shinji sighed. His mind was preoccupied with red hair and sad green eyes. ------------------------------ Three more weeks and he was going to graduate. The youko chided himself for feeling so empty. He should feel elated. He knew he was going to graduate at the top of the whole class. But his heart refused to come out of its melancholy state. The redhead gazed out into the pelting rain. If his kaasan were here, she would be waiting for him. Oh well, it was getting dark. The redhead swiftly dashed out of the student waiting shed and bumped into someone. "Su-sumimasen..." The blue-eyed ningen said and stared into the startled emerald eyes. "I'm sorry." Kurama said and made move to walk away fast. The blue-eyed boy grabbed his hand. "Wait!" Kurama stiffened and looked down pointedly at his hand the young man was holding tightly. "I-I'm sorry. Can I walk you home?" The blue-eyed young man blurted out quickly before he ran out of courage. Minamino Shuuichi was much more exquisite than he thought. His skin was so pale and so creamy. The redness of his hair contrasted beautifully with his large emerald eyes, framed by thick red lashed...and his mouth... it was a passionate, sensuous mouth meant to be kissed. Kurama stared at him. "W-what?" The youko said harshly. The blue-eyed young man seemed hurt at the youko's tone and completely let go of his hand. "I-'I'm sorry if it's a bad time." The ningen murmured apologetically and left. Kurama stared after him and sighed. He just wanted to be left alone. He didn't need anyone's company. ------------------------------ The youko went straight into his room and took off his wet uniform. He stepped directly into the hot shower and failed to see the shadow lurking inside his dark room, watching the redhead silently. When Kurama got out of the shower, he was surprised when the whole room was flooded with light. ----------------------------- Kurama frowned and approached the center of the room stealthily. "Kurama..." "Yomi!" Kurama's eyes widened. Yomi watched as the youko breathed harshly. Kurama quickly turned and would have run from the youkai, but Yomi embraced him from behind. "L-let me go!" Kurama shouted harshly, attempting to push Yomi from him. The makai lord tightened his hold on the redhead and buried his head on the scented neck. "No! Don't go please, Kurama! Let me explain." Yomi said. His nucleus was thudding madly against his chest. The redhead's body was shaking like a leaf. "Yomi, we have nothing more to say to each other!" The youko said in a pained voice. "No! I love you! Can't you see? I won't let you go!" Yomi said stubbornly. Kurama laughed harshly. "After what you did to me? You are just like Hiei! All you want is my body and after you've found someone else, you dumped me!" Kurama breathed roughly and pushed at Yomi's hands again. "Let me go!" "I won't so shut up!" Yomi said forcefully and turned the rigid body to him. Yomi stared at the youko's glowering face. The lovely angry face... so beautiful. "Ku-Kurama..." Yomi took a deep breath and lifted a shaking hand to touch the youko's cheek. Kurama intercepted his hold. Yomi settled to caressing the elegant hand and pulled at the youko's waist. "Ai shiteru." Yomi said in a sincere, humbled voice. Kurama stared at him coldly. "You expect me to believe that?" "Yes! Because that is the truth and I can't change that no matter what I do." "And you did show me just how much you loved me!" Kurama pushed at his imprisoning arms. But Yomi pulled him back against him tightly. "I love you! I love you! Damn it! Why can't you believe that?" Yomi grasped Kurama's chin roughly. Kurama just stared at him blankly. The youko's heart was hardened. Yomi's insides panicked. No! He won't let the stubborn youko have his way! He loved him with all his heart and soul and he was going to win! Kurama gasped when Yomi suddenly kissed him hard on the lips, holding his bright red hair tightly. Kurama's emerald eyes glittered to gold. "Y-Yomi!" The youko warned softly. But Yomi was past caring. He will show the stubborn fox just who he belonged to! Yomi suddenly lifted the youko to his feet and dumped him unceremoniously on the bed and quickly straddled his waist. Kurama didn't have the chance to sit because Yomi descended on him fast and kissed him so skillfully on the mouth. The youko's slender hands grasped the youkai's shoulders, but Yomi was unyielding. The youkai peeled the youko's clothing from his body and proceeded to pleasure him with his hands and mouth. Yomi smiled on the slender chest when Kurama's hands pushed impatiently at his own clothes. "Y-Yomi..." The youko murmured throatily. The youkai went back to Kurama's mouth and kissed him deeply. And then they broke free, gasping for breath. Yomi groaned when he saw the longing and tenderness on the redhead's face. The youkai couldn't help himself and embraced the redhead, pushing him back down on the bed. "Ku-Kurama... I love you." "Y-Yomi..." The youko raised Yomi's chin and stared very seriously at his anxious pink eyes. "Yomi... I-I love you." Kurama breathed deeply. Yomi's hold tightened, but he did not say anything. He just stared at the fox, transfixed. Then Kurama kissed him softly, then more roughly when Yomi caught on with his passion. Yomi suddenly stopped kissing the redhead and stared down at him in wonderment. "Shura is going to be so happy." Yomi murmured and kissed the redhead's forehead. Kurama frowned. "Yomi, about Shura..." "Don't worry, he loves you!" Kurama's emerald eyes widened. "...As a father." Yomi chuckled and kissed the sensuous mouth again. "NANI?" Kurama sat up abruptly and stared at Yomi in shock. Yomi pulled him back into his arms. "Kurama, can we discuss about those things later and make love?" The youkai said impatiently and dragged the youko against his body. Kurama smiled seductively and allowed himself to be laid back down on the bed. Yomi was rubbing himself against him sensuously. "Whatever you say, itooshi."
Kurama smiled under the onslaught of Yomi's ardent kisses. ********************************** ~OWARI~ ********************** ********************** |
