stood silently, enjoying the quiet and spaciousness of the room where he
was left by one of Yomi's attendants.
He felt the touch of strong hands on his shoulders before he could
read the signature ki. The
redheaded youko turned to the newcomer. "Yomi." "Kurama." The
youko smiled and extended his right hand.
Yomi took the proffered hand to his and pulled the kitsune and
solemnly kissed his forehead. Kurama
merely acquiesced to the affectionate gesture, relaxing his body as the

marveled at the vastness of Raizen's territory. Actually it was now his territory. Raizen had long gone. The

tried thinking what his life might have been if he stayed, took over

it was unthinkable. Before he
might have resigned to his fate, but not after his marriage to Keiko.
Yusuke smiled softly, eyes gleaming.
He was missing her already in less than 24 hours after his
departure from the ningenkai. Beside
him, the orange-hair Kuwabara Was
lost in a dreamscape of his own making, face bearing a goofy smile.
Yusuke playfully swatted Kuwabara on the back of his head. "Ittai!
What did you do that for?"
Kuwabara complained, fingering the back of his head. "I
just thought I'd wake you up." Yusuke
replied, the grin on his face widening as the carrot head grabbed his
collar. "I
was not asleep." Kuwabara
said forcefully, making Yusuke laughed aloud. "OK.
OK, already. I was just kidding." "When
do we go? I'm starting to get
bored here." And missing Yukina too.
Kuwabara added to himself silently. "Now.
We go now." Yusuke said, face becoming sad as he started to walk in the
direction of another territory. Mukuro's.
