The redhead blushed hotly, cursing his feminine appearance not for the first time.  He wondered how he would go about telling this strange youkai that he was a guy and not some damsel in distress.  Kurama was saved from his dilemma as the strange youkai came nearer and gaped at the redhead.

"Wait a minute, you're a guy?"  He rasped.

"Uhm...a-huh."  Kurama nodded apologetically.

"I'll be damned!"  He said, gazing at Kurama more thoroughly, making Kurama blushed anew.

"Wow!"  The youkai whistled softly.  Kurama narrowed his emerald eyes.

"If you're done ogling...."  The redhead began hotly.

"Umm, sorry.  Excuse my manners.  It's just that you're so...."  He trailed off as an exasperated redhead walked off fast, as far away from his presence as possible.

"Hey wait a minute.  Where are you going?"

'Hn."  The redhead snorted mimicking a certain fire demon's favorite expression.

"Do you know where you are going?"  The bishounen called.  The redhead trudged on ignoring him, then stopped abruptly.  He knew it was the makai, but as to where exactly, he had no clue.  Even in his thieving days, he had not gone this far.  The youko eyed the stranger once again, who was coming fast next to him.

"Where is this place?"  The redhead asked without preamble.

The bishounen smiled at the redhead and took one elegant hand in his, tightening his hold as the redhead attempted to snatch it back.

"You're in a long, lost dimension in the makai."

"Nothing!"  Yusuke grumbled as he, Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama relaxed at  the Yukimura's ramen shop.

"I thought we had him right there."  Kuwabara added.

"Hn."  Hiei snorted, glancing at the very quiet redhead.  Kurama had been very, very silent after that fireball attack.  It was as if the kitsune as replaced by a whole new person.  The fire demon frowned.  He had failed to garner any response from the kitsune even when he forgot himself  and touched the fox's hand very briefly.  Kurama did not flinch back as he expected.  As much as the fire youkai wanted to convince himself that Kurama had forgiven him. He knew it were not true yet.  But how was it then that Kurama was acting like this?  Like he was possessed or something.  The fire demon had a very determined look on his face as he went near the redhead and nudged him softly.

"C-can we talk?" He asked uncertainly, afraid Kurama might come around and kick him for his nerve.  To his astonishment, the redhead smiled brilliantly and nodded enthusiastically.

"Sure."  The youko said.  Hiei led the redhead out of  the ramen shop with a very confused, but hopeful light on his face.
